“Envy is the mother of all sins, and that is the root to my unhappiness. My constant desire to want what I cannot have – may it be things, skills and other people’s luck. And it is a bad, bad place to be in. Moving forward, I just have to take the things that I have and make the most out of it. My third grade classmate might be good in several things and have all the advantages in life that I do not have – but she can never carry a tune to save her life. Well I can, and as Gandalf would say: “that’s an encouraging thought.”
So farewell to the old ways. Time to move over.
