Film Roundup: January 2012

There are still few more days to go before we leave the first month of 2012. But since an opportune moment has allowed me to go online I have taken the liberty to post this month's film roundup before February commences. There's no need to wait for the end of January considering that most of the films on my movie watching sprees until the 31st are focus on re watch anyway. However, I've noticed lately that I've been kind and generous to how I rate/graded movies, in spite the fact that some of them were reviewed badly by the critics. Well, maybe I'm just in the mood to be entertained even if the film is a no brainier for my liking. Still, there are classically good movies that tiptoed on this list from Clouzot, Spielberg, Joe Wright and Cukor. Also, I have finished two TV series: Downton Abbey and Pan Am, that puts me right back to nostalgia and  strengthened my love for the decades past, however they are not on this list. So moving on, here are my film logs.
